Data Safe: the code change
If you automate audit trail health checks with the SDK or CLI, change both of these:

Check the current list of status values in the Data Safe API reference for your SDK version before choosing which ones to alert on.
Fleet Application Management: plan the exit
- List what FAM manages today: fleets, patch runbooks, compliance policies.
- For Java estates, Oracle points to Java Management Service.
- For Oracle Database and Exadata, Oracle points to Database Management.
- For OS patching of compute instances, OS Management Hub is the OCI-native option.
- Rebuild schedules in the new tool and run both in parallel for one patch cycle before switching off FAM.
Database Migration: switch your runbook
If your migration runbook starts with "Create migration" in the console, rewrite it to start with Create assessment, which validates the source and target first. This applies when the source is Oracle Database 19c (19.23) or later.
Make deprecations someone's job
- Subscribe the platform team to the service changes page (RSS or a scheduled diff of the page).
- For each item that touches you, create a ticket with the date and an owner.
- Review open items monthly, and close them only after the old path is removed.
